Khano close to netting first City goal

Khano Smith came on as a first half substitute in Lincoln City's 1-1 draw at home against Cheltenham Town.

The Bermuda international was introduced after 22 minutes for the injured Sergio Torres and almost scored with a left foot strike that whistled just wide of the target. He's yet to get on the scoresheet since joining the English League Two club earlier this season.

Justin Richards fired Cheltenham in front from close range but Jamie Clarke levelled for Lincoln from a corner.

A fracas ensued between the two benches after referee Graham Salisbury dismissed Lincoln's Aaron Brown for a tackle on Theo Lewis after 69 minutes.

With order restored, Salisbury then sent off Lincoln substitute Ian Pearce and Cheltenham sub Barry Richardson.

After Imps assistant boss Pearce and Cheltenham goalkeeping coach Richardson saw red, Lincoln manager Chris Sutton was also sent to the stands.
