Haven't had enough of the little genius? Well today could be one of the matches of the year – Barcelona travelling to the Bernabeu to take on Real Madrid with the teams tied on points at the top of the table.

Watching Messi take apart Arsenal this week in the Champions League, scoring four goals, just showed that he is the best player in the world – as if anyone had any doubts about that!

Now you get the chance to watch Messi and Ronaldo against each other and let's not forget Kaka. This game could be the telling point of the season in the Spanish league. Whoever wins it will be in the driver's seat with only about eight more games left – much like Chelsea and Manchester United last weekend.

Real Madrid have had some rest this week leading up to the game since they were knocked out of the Champions League but I think when you are winning games and trophies you don't get tired. Messi has scored 39 goals in all competitions this season and will be looking to get more against Real.

In the first game between these two giants earlier this season, Real lost 1-0 and players like Ronaldo will want a little revenge. And he is the player that Barca will have to watch out for – the player who can provide that bit of magic.

I know it is a game I cannot wait to see. Hopefully it will live up to the hype.

Barca will take on Inter Milan in the Champions League semi-final and I know that Mourinho will have some special plans for Messi. But as he has proved already, the little fella can destroy those plans in a second. He is a wonder to watch.

Manchester United fans are obviously disappointed seeing their team go out of the Champions League to Bayern Munich this week but don't worry – United will be back.

However, they were 3-0 up against Bayern and should have been able to hold, before they gave up that away goal before half-time. But it was an exciting game and had some cracking goals in it – especially Robben's volley which sealed the tie. It was stunning technique and he hit it so well. I also have to hand it to Nani who scored two excellent goals. He played well and the young Brazilian right back DaSilva will probably be hurting inside right now but he should hold his head up high. He played well but he lacks some experience. He is a real battler and it was just unfortunate to get a red card. But that's life.

It will be interesting to see what Aston Villa team show up today for the FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea. The last time these two sides met – only a short while ago – Chelsea absolutely battered them 7-1. Villa are going to have to stand up tall and play tough because if they perform like they did in the 7-1 demolition everyone will just think they are soft.

In the other semi tomorrow Spurs take on Portsmouth and while I think Spurs will have too much for them, it would be nice to see Portsmouth get into the final considering the horrible year they have had. But I don't think that is going to happen.

For those of us whose teams are fighting relegation it is going to be an interesting weekend. I was so proud of the West Ham players last weekend when we came back and managed a 2-2 draw against Everton. What I liked about it was that we played with passion instead of standing around with our heads hanging low.

We missed a penalty as well but the lads kept their spirits up and our second goal at the end was brilliant. Julien Faubert made a fantastic cross and you couldn't ask anything more from Ilan who made a great flying header.

This week we host Sunderland who have been in good form – they beat Spurs last weekend. And then you have Wolves hosting Stoke and Burnley travelling to Hull. But I really want us to take care of our own business. If we can do that we will be OK.
