On-form Village tough to beat
North Village v Dandy Town
North Village are the in-form side in the Premier Division at the moment and should be worth the win against Dandy Town.
The Rams won the Dudley Eve title midweek and will be in a buoyant mood to continue their winning ways.
With the likes of Ralph Bean, Sammy DeGraff, Kofi Dill all finding their form, plus the return of Jemeiko Jennings, Village are emerging into title contenders this term.
Town will be looking to draw confidence from their FA Cup win over Devonshire Colts last weekend and make it two wins on the trot.
They are putting together better showings but will need to take full advantage of what opportunities they get if they are to stand any chance of getting a result.
Prediction: North Village 3-2
Devonshire Cougars v PHC
Cougars didn't look their usual selves in their last outing in a Dudley Eve loss to Village and will need to refocus if they are to not let their early season momentum slip away.
They didn't show any real attacking authority in front of goal against Village and will need to improve.
PHC will be looking to bounce back after their Dudley Eve loss to North Village and a win against Cougars will go a long way to showing that they are legitimate title contenders.
The key will be who puts away their chances.
Prediction: Cougars 2-1
Devonshire Colts v Somerset Eagles
Colts can look to their recent win against PHC as a sign of encouragement as they prepare to face Eagles.
Continuity will be key if Colts are to win more matches, and they will face a very inconsistent side in Eagles on Sunday.
After starting the season with two huge wins, Eagles have seemingly fell by the wayside and will need to get this victory if they are to get back on track in the league.
One downside may be the suspension of striker Antwan Russell who was sent off against Southampton Rangers.
However, they should still have enough firepower to get through this match.
Prediction: Eagles 2-0
Southampton Rangers v Hamilton Parish
Rangers will feel they were hard done by in their last match against Eagles although the game could have gone either way.
But they seem to have found the right blend of youth and experience and should now look to make a move up the charts, starting with a result against Parish.
Winning promotion together the season before last, both teams should be familiar with each other which should set up an intriguing clash.
Hot Peppers have come into their own lately but still need some verve at the back if they are not to fall apart should they go a goal down.
Another goalscoring threat must show up as well other than the prolific Angelo Cannonier if they are to get something out of this showdown.
Prediction: Rangers 2-1
Boulevard v Somerset Trojans
Boulevard left it late in their last match against Parish and will be looking for an improved performance against Trojans.
Getting back to full strength is a key factor and that should bode well for them in their upcoming fixtures.
In Trojans they will find a stout defence that is extremely stingy and efficient.
But the West Enders really need to discover another goalscoring threat to help out striker Adrian Burrows.
Even if someone else can step up to the scoring plate, it's still unlikely Trojans will have enough to get past Blazers.
Prediction: Boulevard 3-2
