Patton improves at Worlds

Bermuda's Tim Patton (49 hull number) seen racing at the Etchells World Championships yesterday off the coast of Ireland.

Bermuda's Tim Patton moved up five places after yesterday's two races at the Etchells Worlds Championships being sailed at Howth off the coast of Ireland.

Patton was lying in 29th place after Wednesday's racing and yesterday he posteda 28th and a 17th to move to 24th overall.

Six races have been sailed in the championships which has 43 sailors competing.

American legend John Bertrand looks unstoppable as he had another first place finish yesterday – his fourth in the regatta – and a ninth place to comfortably lead the fleet.

Second is Great Britain's Ante Razmilovic who had a fourth and a fifth yesterday while Singapore's Nils Razmilovic moved into third place with a first-place and a 28th finish.
