Hamilton Tsunamis shooting guard Graham Robinson scored a game-high 24 points as his side held off champions Hamilton Parish Chargers 60-54 at CedarBridge Academy at the weekend.

Robinson found his touch early to give his team a six-point lead after back-to-back three pointers, but Chargers guard Mike Smith rallied this team on the defensive side, creating a series of turnover, which resulted in fast break points for Jonathan Walker.

With the score tied at the half, the Tsunamis went to big man Greg Todd who delivered on a spin move to the basket and a face up jumper in the post to push his team's lead to five in the opening minutes.

With two minutes remaining, Mike Smith took the ball coast to coast for a three-point play to give the Chargers their first lead in the second half.

A costly turnover led to a wide open three pointer by Robinson to push the lead to 57-54 three with 40 seconds remaining.

Robinson then proceeded to hit a shot clock buzzer beater with 16 seconds left to extend Tsunamis lead and defeat the defending champions, 60 - 54.

Kareem McKinnie scored 11 points for the Tsunamis to help Robinson, while Smith's 17 points and Jonathan Walker's ten points wasn't enough for the champions.

Southampton Titans 59

Smith's Wildcats 76

Ryan Rabain's 20 points and Steven Simons contribution (19) guided Smith's Wildcats to an emphatic win over the Southampton Titans.

The Wildcats came out the gates running, scoring back-to-back lay-ups in the opening minutes of play.

Jason Simons found his shooting range early on, scoring a series of three point baskets to give the Wildcats a ten-point lead in the early minutes.

The Titans would settle down and answer with a 16-6 run lead by guard Huysane Symonds (25).

A series of acrobatic lay-ups by Symonds pulled the Titans within four at the end of the first half, but the Wildcats turned up the heat in the second half, going on an 8-0 run to open the second stanza.

A pair of three pointers from Sinclair Vickers (16) slowed the Wildcat's momentum briefly before a crossover by Steven Simons set up brother Jason Simons for a wide open three to give them a 56-48 lead with eight minutes remaining.

The Wildcats proved to be too much for the Titans in the final minutes pushing their lead to double digits to defeat Southampton in a final score of 76-59.

Paget Bearcats 59

Somerset Flyers 62

Chris Crumpler's 37 points couldn't save the Paget Bearcats from defeat as they went down to the Somerset Flyers in overtime.

Crumpler shot lights out the first half, scoring 22 of his 37 in the half to keep his team close.

Despite Somerset extending their lead in the second half, the Bearcats chipped away at Somerset's lead and with 30 seconds remaining, Paget took a two point lead off of a jump shot by Crumpler.

As time wound down, Flyers Jonathan Lowe rebounded a missed shot and laid the ball in to send the game to overtime.

In overtime, Somerset jumped on top and never look back, defeating Paget in a final score of 62-59.

Lowe scored 25 points in his side's win.
