St.George's International imposed their will on the Pembroke Cane Toads to book their spot in their third consecutive final with a comfortable win.

Pembroke were able to match St. George's blow for blow, staying within two points at the half, 26-24.

But St. George's came out with an added fervour after the break and started with an 8-0 run to stretch their lead to double digits.

Lee Greene, scoring a team high 19 points, kept his side within striking distance throughout the second half.

St. George's strength proved to be too much for the Cane Toads down the stretch as Damon Saunders began to break down their defence.

Easy baskets for the International allowed them to pull away, with Saunders leading all scorers with 23 points.

St. George's will now be looking to regain their championship status, which they relinquished last year to Hamilton Parish.

Defending champions Hamilton Chargers suffered a crushing defeat against Smith's Wildcats in a much-anticipated semi final.

Before the game began, Wildcats' Ryan Rabain was presented with the regular season MVP award, having not only performed statistically, but offering great leadership.

His leadership has helped his team go unbeaten so far this season. The game began with a bang with the shot clock running down, with Chargers' Calvert Lee launching 28-foot jumper that hit the bottom of the net.

But that would be the only bang for the Chargers, as Wildcats went on a 20-0 run.

After calling a timeout to make some adjustments, Chargers were able to match the Wildcats score for score to end the half down 11-29 and had they converted a better percentage of their first half free throws they could have been within ten points. Wildcats started the second half with a renewed energy and kept the pedal to the metal.

Timeouts, substitutes, changed tactics, nothing could stop Wildcats' onslaught.

Steven Simons led all scorers with 13 points.

Mike Smith scored 12 for the Chargers.
