Valley make it three in a row

Vasco could not take advantage of league leaders' Tuff Dogs bye over the weekend, while Valley FC made it three wins in a row to climb closer to the top three.

Lobster Pot 1

Valley FC 3

Valley extended their win streak to three after this come-from-behind victory over Lobster Pot.

Valley missed a penalty kick early on and Gary Richardson put Pot ahead.

That goal seem to spark Valley, who sprung to life and found a way back into the match through Keimon Lawrence.

It was then Craig Darrell's turn to put his name on the scoresheet, scoring his first and his side's second goal.

Although Valley dominated large parts of the game, it was left to Roger Hall to put the final nail in the coffin when he netted to make it 3-1.

Vasco 2

MR Onions 2

Vasco couldn't close the gap on front-runners Tuff Dogs as they were held to a draw against Onions.

In gale force winds, neither side could get settled or were able to play attractive football.

Onions took a surprise lead when a cross was carried by the wind and flew into the goal at the back post.

Vasco got their equaliser through ever reliable Rui Furtado just before the break.

Furtado scored his side's second goal from the penalty spot in the second half to give Vasco the lead. But the speedy winger also missed a penalty.

And that gave Onions chance to tie it up with a second goal following a good counter attack.

Robin Hood 1

Fire FC 2

Lone strikes from Allan Wilkinson jr. and Michael Rawlins were enough to see Fire FC to their first win of the campaign.

Hood midfielder Ryan Matcham put his side up in the first half but that lead was short -lived as Rawlins levelled before the break.

With the game in the balance and both sides looking to grab the three points, it was left up to Wilkinson to make the difference, scoring the winner late on to clinch a rare Fire win.

n Friday night's matches were postponed due to the bad weather.

Matches between BAA and West End, and Prision Officers and St. David's will all be rescheduled.
