Prospect v

Ireland Rangers

This match is a battle of sixth versus seventh in the standings and should be a close call.

Their last encounter ended in a 0-0 draw at Malabar and the onus will be on Rangers to make a run at the teams above as they are just two points behind Somerset Trojans.

Prospect, on the other hand, will try to get over the loss over team-mate Andrew Jackson, who died in a recent road accident, as they look to gain some momentum and leapfrog their opponents with a win.

Prediction: Ireland Rangers 2-0

Wolves v Paget

Paget's 1-0 triumph over Wolves earlier in the season raised a few eyebrows but looking at the current standings it wasn't much of a surprise as Wolves continue to struggle.

Paget will be looking to make the most out of this match and leave their opponents further adrift at the foot of the table.

The break could have helped the Devonshire club who, refreshed from the holiday, could go just one point behind Paget with a victory.

Prediction: Paget 2-1

St. David's v

Young Men's Social Club

St. David's will attempt to bounce back from their Dudley Eve disappointment when they take on Young Men's Social Club at St. David's, knowing a win could see them go top of the charts.

Fielding a relatively weak squad for the Christmas tournament, they should have all guns blazing in their attempt to gain automatic entry to the Premier League next season.

Social Club got off to a flyer, leading the league in the early stages before fading. And they quickly need to get back on course.

A safe bet says the Islanders come away from this one with three points and still in the running for top honours.

Prediction: St. David's 3-0

Somerset Trojans v X'Roads – postponed

St. George's v Somerset Eagles – postponed
