Manders and Lambert defend titles
Tara Lambert and Gavin Manders both defended their WER Joell Memorial tournament titles to end their seasons on a winning note at the weekend.
Manders also won the doubles title with partner David Thomas, who he beat in the singles event 6-0, 1-6, 6-4.
Lambert saw off youngster Tyler Smith 6-3, 6-2 in the ladies final.
She said: "It felt great having this win, last year I won the triple crown in this tournament, winning the singles, the doubles with Jacky (Lambert) and the mixed doubles with Jenson Bascome," said Lambert.
"I did have intentions on taking a break from the local scene but it is hard to really take a break.
"Someone is always coaxing you back in and being competitive is in the blood.
"It was a great match for me. My mindset was to keep the intensity and momentum, to try not to let her get a rhythm, and go for my shots.
"I took advantage of my strong serve, drawing a few points off aces, as well as staying consistent to force an error."
