McDonald and Fiddick voted No.1

Daniel Fiddick and Akira MacDonald have won the male and female high school volleyball Player of the Year awards.

Fiddick, from Warwick Academy, and MacDonald, of MSA, picked up the most votes from the high school volleyball league's coaches who were asked to select the season's top male and female performers.

The Bermuda Volleyball Association (BVA) accepted applications throughout the season for four bursaries of $1,000 each, to be used to attend overseas volleyball camps.

They were awarded to Fiddick, Harry Secrett, Joshua Malpas and Kyle Hamilton, all from Warwick Academy.
