Somerset Trojans came from two goals down to beat Devonshire Cougars on penalties in the Under-14 Knockout final at the NSC yesterday.

Cougars goalkeeper Kioshon Trott saved Chikosi Basden's first half penalty, before the Big Cats took the lead through Chae Brangman.

Brangman scored his second in the second half after a devastating run by Machi Battersbee .

Basden was then bought down in the box with Trojans skipper Justin Corday slotting home from the penalty spot.

In the dying moments Jaz Ratteray-Smith levelled matters.

With the momentum on their side, the league champions completed the double, winning the match on penalties.

North Village 3

Devonshire Cougars won a fast and furious Under-16 Knockout final over North Village.

In the first half Juma Mouchette was bought down in the area with Khyree Dillas slotting his penalty past Village goalkeeper Raymond Sousa.

Village's Tareeko Wilson levelled matters shortly after with a header from a corner.

After the break Mouchette poked home to give Cougars the lead.

Jaquan Smith levelled terms after midfielder Jonte Smith danced his way past a host of defenders.

Minutes later Mouchette grabbed his second, before Smith converted a penalty after he was brought down to draw the scores level.

Tre Dill then scored a free kick from 25 yards out to confirm Cougars as the champions.
