Bermuda's Chris Rego has been crowned the Junkanoo Bowl boy's under-14 singles champion following his straight sets win in the final.Unseeded Rego, 14, beat Mexico's Jorge Nunez 7-5, 6-0 in Bahamas yesterday.In the earlier rounds Rego defeated Dylan Walker (6-1, 6-1), Michael Johnson (6-3, 6-3), both Bahamians, and Mexico's Alan Valdes (6-3, 6-3).The Junkanoo Bowl is part of the Confederation of Tennis Central America and the Caribbean COTECC Junior Circuit.Last month saw Rego claim victory in the under-14 boy's singles final of the ITF Junior Tournament, held in Bermuda, defeating local resident James Finnigan.
