Racing continued to heat up during weekend harness action at Bermuda Equestrian Centre with four ponies moving up a time bar.

Advancing from the 1:10/4-1:12/4 time bar were the trio of Itsallaboutme (Kenny Mills), Kate’s Little Lady (Shaun Sealey) and Inwood’s Generation (Casey Truran).

Track newcomer Itsallaboutme got a leg out after posting a 1:09 flat in heat 14 and then moved out of the time bar after crossing the line in 1:07 in heat 19.

Colt Inwood’s Generation, currently the fastest two-year-old in the sport, moved up a time bar after posting a 1:10 flat in heat 19 while mare Kate’s Little Lady moved up after running a 1:09/2 in the same heat.

Mare Hoosier Legacy (Darico Clarke) moved out of the 1:07/2-1:08/2 time bar after posting a 1:06/3 in heat 12 and a 1:07/1 in heat 17.

Mare IC’s Shakedown (Joseph Vieira) and stallion American Treat (Keira Whited) managed to get a leg out of their respective time bars.

American Treat got a leg out of the 1:07/2-:108/2 time bar after running a 1:06 flat in heat 12 while IC’s Shakedown stopped the clock at 1:09/1 to get a leg out of the 1:10/4 -1:12/4 time bar in heat 19.

Mare Abbey’s Dream (Thomas Whited) came to within one fifth of a second of equalling the season’s fastest time (1:04 flat) after posting the day’s fastest time of 1:04/1 in the Free for All.

Mare Cherokee Kibbitz (Joseph Vieira) recorded the day’s second fastest time (1:04/3) while gelding Brona’s Mike (Cameron Harris) and stallion GV Crystal Ball (Eddie Roque) — the fastest pony at the track so far this season — both ran 1:04/4 in the Free for All.

Teenager Kiwon Waldron turned heads after claiming victory with gelding Down Home Punch in the Free for All, pipping rival driver Roque by one fifth of a second at the line in heat 16.

Four drivers managed multiple wins on the day.

Ryan Manders swept both heats in the 1:08/3-1:10/3 time bar with mare Colonel’s Finest while former PHC Zebras footballer Mills won two heats in the 1:10/4-1:12/4 time bar with gelding Itsallaboutme.

Kirista Rabain and the evergreen Arthur Hurst had two wins on two different ponies.

Rabain was a heat winner in the 1:07/2-1:08/2 and 1:05-1:06 time bars with mare Crown’s Jewel and gelding Nite Dreamer while Hurst had wins in the 1:10/4- 1:12/4 and 1:07/2-1:08/2 time bars with studs Colonel’s J and Bustin Drum.

Rabain and Whited were among four female drivers tasting victory, the others being Andrea Westerfield (Casmir Camotion) and Lindsay Sousa (Shady Lady) who had a win each.
