The National Sports Centre Aquatics and Fitness centre, as well as the hockey field, will close this weekend because of the bad weather forecast.

“Due to the impending weather conditions and forecast of rain, possible thunderstorms and gale force winds with storm force gusts, we have made the decision to close the Aquatics & Fitness Centre for safety reasons from 2pm today [Friday, March 2nd] through until Sunday,” a statement from NSC read today. “We are currently planning to reopen on Monday at 6:30am, but in the meantime, please check our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/BermudaNationalSportsCentre for updates.”

The North Field is set to remain open, but all circumstances are subject to change
