Bermuda have lost 8-4 to Wales in their opening group game of the FIL Men’s Lacrosse World Championships in Israel.
Bermuda, ranked 24th in the world, have joined 45 other counties at the championships — the largest in the history of the event.
They play Puerto Rico in their second group game today.
Bermuda’s squad is considered to be one of island’s most talented teams since they first began competing internationally in 2006. The championships run until July 21.
