Bermuda lacrosse team finish with a win

Bermuda defeated Mexico 9-6 in their final game of the FIL Men’s Lacrosse World Championships in Israel yesterday.
On target for the islanders were Drew Jenkins with a hat-trick, Armand Wilson and Rance Cole with braces, Bobby Walker and James Chiappa.
They finished the competition with five wins and three defeats.
Bermuda’s other wins came against Peru, Hungry, Croatia and Luxembourg, while their defeats were against Wales, Chinese Taipei and Puerto Rico.
Ranked 24th in the world, Bermuda joined 45 other counties at the championships — the largest in the history of the event.
