Bermuda Under-21 claim three victories in a row
The Bermuda netball team have won all three of their matches at the USA Netball Under-21 International Development Series in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
On the first day of the competition on Monday, Bermuda recorded back-to-back wins against the host nation and the United States.
They defeated Canada 33-24 in the opener, with Nabiilah Nasir scoring 20 goals, Selah Tuzo notching ten and Kaamilah Nasir adding three.
Bermuda then beat the US 45-27, with Nabiilah Nasir once again leading the scoring with 23 goals. Tuzo hit 18 and Kaamilah Nasir contributed four.
On day two, Bermuda added a third win with a 39-24 victory over Canada.
Bermuda’s scorers were Tuzo with 20 goals, Zariah Amory added 12 goals, while Kaamilah Nasir hit seven. Bermuda were scheduled play on US last night. Kimale Evans, the Bermuda Netball Association president, is serving as head coach, Anthony Mouchette her assistant coach. Tanika White is travelling as team manager.
