The Royal Artillery Association overcame Sandys Boat Club II in a 3-2 thriller, in one of four games in the Bermuda Snooker League.

Fred Richardson, of RAA, beat Tyler Siese of SBC2 34-22 in a close frame with Siese unable to finish Richardson who held on to take the win for RAA.

Chris Bromby then snatched a point back for SBC2 in a nail-biting black-ball finish against Jacal Washington when he won 49-40, levelling the match at one frame a piece.

Jelani Hollis, however, stormed back with two convincing wins for RAA, defeating Jim Mclenan, of SBC2, 53-24 and 64-13 to give RAA an unassailable lead of three frames to one.

Tyler Siese and Chris Bromby, however, claimed a point back when they defeated Jacal Washington and Fred Richardson in the doubles 56-33, making the final score 3-2 to The RAA.

Watford Sports Club beat Sandys Boat Club I in a comfortable 4-1 win at home.

Aaron Bean took an early lead for WSC after beating Martin Siese 52-28 putting WSC 1-0 up.

Keino Zuill increased Watford’s lead to 2-0 when he took out Peter Bromby in a hard-fought intense frame with the advantage changing hands constantly throughout, Zuill eventually nailing the win 59-37.

Winslow Smith gave WSC an insurmountable lead next when he took the first of two frames against Sandys’ Paul Fedden in a gruelling battle, full of safety play, winning 52-18.

Fedden, however, finally put Sandys on the score board when he took the second frame 48-15.

In the doubles, Bean and Zuill beat Bromby and Siese 50-38, sealing the match for WSC in a shock first defeat of the season for SBC I.

Spanish Point Boat Club II beat Warwick Workmen’s Club II in a hard-fought 3-2 win.

Billy Wotton opened the scoring for Spanish Point when he took the first frame of the night, beating Warwick’s Ray Desilva in a close game, 47-35, giving Point a 1-0 lead.

Steven Bremar bounced back for WWCII in the first of two frames against Point’s John Orr, winning 48-13.

Orr fought back hard, though, chalking up a win in the second of the frames, beating Bremar 56-28 to give Point a 2-1 lead.

Warwick levelled the score at 2-2 when Zane Desilva defeated Scott Barnes 50-32.

With it all to play for going into the doubles, Wotton and Barnes sealed the victory for Point when they defeated Desilva and Desilva 46-32.

Meanwhile, Warwick Workmen’s Club I beat Spanish Point Boat Club I in a 2-1 success.

Warwick newcomer Daemon Henley opened the scoring with in the first of two frames against Point’s Chris Dakin when he won 55-47.

Dakin hit back in the next, however, with a convincing win of 52-27, levelling the match at 1-1.

The next frame saw Warwick’s Gary Bascombe in action against Point’s Todd Dziak. Bascombe put Warwick back in the lead at 2-1 when he defeated Dziak 58-23.

The last singles frame saw Warwick’s Kidd Mouchette take on Point’s Stewart Greenslade. Mouchette gave WWCI a decisive lead when he defeated Greenslade 76-39 to make it 3-1.

In the doubles, Point were unable to stop the rot when Warwick’s Gary Bascombe and Warwick newcomer, Richard Burton, sealed the match with a win of 60-51 in a tense and close frame.
