Clean sweeps for Lewis and Thomas
Travis Lewis and Jorja Thomas completed clean sweeps in the Bermuda Karting Club series at the Rubis Southside Raceway at the weekend.
Lewis won all three of his heats in the L206 Masters, finishing ahead of Robert Wheatley and Patrick Stamper, who finished second and third respectively in the three races.
Thomas claimed a trio of wins in the TAG Juniors, holding off Nathan DeCosta, who came runner-up in all three heats, and third place Jaden Malpas.
Jason North, the BKC president, enjoyed a successful race day after picking up two wins in the L206 Seniors, although he could only finish fourth in the final heat which was won by Scott Barnes.
In the TAG Seniors, Stephen Corrado took the chequered flag in the first two heats before finishing second behind Bilal Binns in the third heat.
