Sandys Boat Club too strong for Warwick

Sandys Boat Club One 3 Warwick Workmen’s Club 1

Martin Siese gave Sandys Boat Club One an early lead when he defeated Warwick’s Gary Bascombe 62-50 in the Bermuda Snooker League.

Paul Fedden increased that lead in the second frame in a 67-29 win over Warwick’s Richard Burto.

Kidd Mouchette stormed back for Warwick, however, when he took out Sandys Peter Bromby, taking both of their frames 59-50 and 59-20 to level the match.

In the doubles, the pairing of Fedden and Siese sealed the match for Sandys when they overcame Warwick’s Bascombe/Burton 52-17.

Spanish Boat Club One 3 Watford Sports Club 2

Aaron Bean opened the scoring for Watford when he took the first of two frames against Spanish Point’s Chris Dakin 63-21.

Dakin came back in the next, however, to take it 46-21.

Todd Dziak put Point ahead in the third when he took out Watford’s Winslow Smith 43-25.

Stewart Greenslade built on Point’s lead when he beat Watford’s Keino Zuill 43-31.

In the doubles, Zuill and Smith pulled a one back for Watford when they overcame Point’s Greenslade and Dziak 54-40.

Warwick Workmen’s Club Two beat Sandys Boat Club Two

Mike Zimmerman gave Warwick a two frame lead when he defeated Sandys Chris Bromby 52-31 and 63-25.

Ray DeSilva kept the ball rolling in the next when he defeated Sandys Tyler Siese 43-33.

Building further on that success, Warwick’s Steven Bremar beat Sandys Owen Siese 64-17.

In the doubles, a whitewash was averted for Sandys, however, when Owen and Tyler Siese salvaged a point, beating Warwick’s Bremar and DeSilva 44-36.

Spanish Point Boat Club beat Royal Artillery Association 4-1

Billy Wotton put Point in front when he took the first of two frames against RAA’s Kyle Williams 65-3.

Williams then bounced back for RAA to level the match when he defeated Wotton 72-36.

Point’s Tyler Moniz put them in front again when he dispatched RAA’s Fred Richardson 67-55.

Point’s John Orr extended that lead further, taking out RAA’s Jacal Washington 73-19.

In the doubles, Moniz and Orr sealed a 4-1 win for Point when they beat Washington and Richardson 66-57.
