Three Bermudians were inducted into the International Martial Arts Hall of Fame in Florida at the weekend.

Callahj Simons and Dominique Brown were inducted in the Up and Comer category, while Andrea McKey received an International Instructor Award at the biennial awards held by Shihan Graves and the World Federation of Elite Martial Arts.

McKey said: “This was an amazing honour and achievement for not only these three martial artists but also highlights Bermuda in a good light.

“It is amazing that a tiny island can get recognition for and compete internationally and have successes.”
