Tornado warning
Residents in Shelley Hall say they were hit by a tornado this morning - which tore down a wall next to a swimming pool.It comes as the Bermuda Weather Service issued a severe weather warning - including threats of isolated tornadoes.It said: “A severe weather warning has been issued for a line of rain with thunderstorms and strong to gale force winds with gusts to storm force. Within these thunderstorms is the threat for hail, squalls and isolated tornadoes. Showers and thunder will ease this afternoon as a cold front pushes to the east.“High pressure will move through from the west tomorrow bringing fine weather and light winds.”At Shelley Hall one resident said he could feel the wind whip up, taking garden furniture and bringing down a wall. “We could see the wind whipping on the roof across the way.”* See this website for pictures and updates.* Are you affected?
