Ettrick Animal Hospital expansion approved
Plans to expand an animal hospital have been approved by the Development Applications Board (DAB).The application, originally received in October last year and revised in April and July proposed a two-storey addition to Ettrick Animal Hospital.According to the original application, the hospital’s upper floor would include the waiting room, surgeries and examination rooms, with the lower level largely containing offices and storage space. The plan also proposed destroying the existing parking lot, replacing it with a new parking area for 17 cars and 16 motorcycles. In a meeting last month, the DAB approved the revised plans, but noted that boarding facilities included in the plan must be licenced before the project is issued a certificate of completion and occupancy.
