Premier Cox at Caribbean Foreign Ministers conference in Grenada
Premier Paula Cox is attending a forum with Caribbean Foreign Ministers and the UK’s Foreign and Commonwealth Secretary William Hague this weekend in Grenada.Officials from the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) will meet with a delegation of UK Ministers for the Seventh CARICOM-UK Ministerial Forum, under the theme of Sustainable Growth Toward Prosperity.Topics at the two-day gathering include regional security, the economy and the environment.CARICOM Ministers will be lead by Sam Condor, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister for St Kitts and Nevis.Mr Condor is also chairman of CARICOM’s Council for Foreign and Community Relations.Representatives from Caribbean and UK firms will also meet to discuss trade between the region and the UK.Useful website: www.caricom.org
