The One Bermuda Alliance has concluded the second in a series of meetings at the party’s headquarters, believed to be a result of the “Jetgate” controversy.

After several hours of discussion, Craig Cannonier, the Premier, party chairman Thad Hollis and other party members left the Reid Street headquarters shortly after 2pm.

Leaving the meeting, Mr Cannonier said: “We are going to continue on. We are going to continue on as we have already been doing.”

On Saturday, after a four-hour emergency gathering, the Premier and Mr Hollis promised a statement at the close of an inquiry into the Nathan Landow affair, dubbed “Jetgate” by the Opposition Progressive Labour Party.

After today’s meeting, Mr Hollis said: “It was decided we wanted to continue these discussions because there are things that we need to clarify and that we are working on. As I said yesterday, the inquiry is ongoing. We are still working on that and as soon as we are able to complete everything, as I have promised, we will inform the media.”
