House: Police recruit financial investigator

A financial investigator from Britain has been working on short-term contracts with the Bermuda Police Service since 2013, Parliament heard yesterday.
John Briggs, a former London Metropolitan Police Official, is at present on contract from July 27 until March 31, 2016. Payments to date made to Mr Briggs, based on an annual salary of $104,640, so far total $157,463.
The details were given by Michael Dunkley, the Minister of National Security, in response to parliamentary questions from Shadow Minister Walter Roban.
