Sessions House, the home of Bermuda’s Parliament, is due for renovations.
The House of Assembly building will have its windows replaced, and its terracotta exterior restored, while the southeast entrance has been closed off for restoration works.
Suzann Roberts-Holshouser, the One Bermuda Alliance MP and member of the House and Grounds Committee, said renovations will continue on the first floor throughout the year. Certain offices, including the office of the Speaker, will be moved to the Swan building on Victoria Street as of August 1.
Meanwhile the Senate is expected to temporarily relocate to courtroom two while the Cabinet Building undergoes its own renovations.
