Ombudsman Victoria Pearman received 161 new complaints throughout 2015, she revealed as she released her annual report.

The Office of the Ombudsman concentrated on individual complaints during the calendar year, launching no systemic investigations.

Of the 29 recommendations she made concerning administrative action, 25 were accepted by authorities in an effort to improve their policies, procedures and practices, she said. Other recommendations are under review.
