Nandi Outerbridge and Nick Kempe have been appointed deputy chairs of the One Bermuda Alliance.
Ms Outerbridge, the St George’s West MP and House leader, and Mr Kempe, a former caucus chairman and chairman of the Bermuda Economic Development Corporation, have been involved with the party since its early days.
The OBA said no other nominations were made for the posts, so the pair were appointed by acclaim and there will be no need for a special general meeting to hold elections.
Senator Lynne Woolridge, the party chairwoman, said in a statement: “I welcome the experience and enthusiasm our new Deputy Chairs will bring to the party and offer my congratulations and support as we continue to move Bermuda forward.”
