PLP to host voter-registration drive
The Progressive Labour Party will be hosting a voter-registration drive in Warwick South Central over the weekend.
Anyone aged 18 or older who has never been registered on the Parliamentary Registry, and those who need to change their information due to moving into Constituency 26 since the last General Election, is encouraged to attend.
Registration will take place tomorrow and Sunday, between 10am and 3pm at The Rubber Tree, in the car park next to Warwick Post Office.
The PLP has not yet revealed its candidate to challenge Robyn Swan of the One Bermuda Alliance at the December 20 by-election caused by the resignation of former Opposition leader Marc Bean.
The party said in a statement: “We encourage all those who wish to vote in the upcoming by-election and the next General Election to come out and register, regardless of political affiliation or beliefs.”
People should be prepared to provide their address, contact numbers and other relevant information.
