Government will look to extend Unesco support to maintain forts outside of St George’s, according to Lieutenant-Colonel David Burch.
Making a statement on the island’s infrastructure, the Minister of Public Works said that, like the island’s buses, Bermuda’s bridges are in need of upkeep.
And he said the ministry would establish a programme through which individuals and companies can “adopt” historic buildings to help keep them in good shape.
