House: Workforce Development scholarships

Department of Workforce Development scholarships were handed to 34 students.

Diallo Rabain told the House of Assembly 16 received up to $10,000 each for the National Technical Vocational Training scholarship and six were awarded the Technical Vocational Education Training Professional Development Award of up to $5,000.

Funding was awarded to 12 Bermuda College students, to cover up to $3,000 per year in tuition fees plus incidentals.

The Bermuda College students are Camille Outerbridge, Chelsey Walker, Jahshae Simons, Mikia Parris, Regina Dill, Sherlrina Thomas, Zyair Scott, Jaha Matthews, Selina Wellman, China Nisbett, Corey Outerbridge and Rodae Bascome.

The Technical Vocational Education Training students are Alexandra Lymbery, Jaquan Burrows,

Khalid Muhammad, Odile Baker, Tyril Simmons and Rogette Simons.

The National Technical Vocational Training students are Amari Ebbin, Andre Durham, Antonio Bailey, Caroline Caton, Chanah Bremar, Ciera McGhie, Daniela D’Amato, Dessiree Waldron, Donnika Bean, John Barnes, Lamar Samuels, Lucas Bridges, Shanika Cunningham, Taj-Rae Outerbridge and Tyler Cameron.
