The Bermuda Monetary Authority’s regulations have been updated to keep in line with the island’s budding fintech industry.

The amendments were brought to the House of Assembly on Friday by Wayne Furbert, the Junior Minister of Finance.

The authority’s fees were updated to cover digital asset businesses, in a move backed by both sides of the House.
