An extraordinary municipal election is set for Thursday, when voters in the municipality of St George will select a representative to fill the seat of Municipal Residents’ Councillor.

The candidates are Nyon Dowling and Alfonso Harris. Only municipal residents are allowed to vote in this election.

The Parliamentary Registrar issued a reminder this afternoon that the polling station at Penno’s Wharf cruise ship terminal would be open from 8am to 8pm on polling day.

The Parliamentary Registry’s office will also be open during those hours to assist voters.

All voters must have valid photo identification in order to vote.

Election results will be posted on the Parliamentary Registrar’s website at elections.gov.bm.
