Updated: Nov 26, 2021 03:00 PM
The House of Assembly has approved a fee rate for permission to live in Bermuda under an economic investment certificate.
A fee of $2,625 was approved for the granting of ministerial permission to live on the island – the same price as a residential certificate under 1956 legislation.
Jason Hayward, the labour minister, brought the Government Fees Amendment and Validation Act to the House, where it passed with Opposition support.
