Free training opportunities are available throughout the year for people seeking an edge in the jobs market, the Department of Workforce Development said.

Jason Hayward, the Minister of Economy and Labour, urged participation in the programmes aimed at improving skills and retooling.

The initiative covers areas such as communication skills and interview techniques.

Mr Hayward said: “The Government is committed to ensuring Bermudians are provided with the necessary training to meet the demands of Bermuda’s workforce.

“Providing access to training opportunities that help job seekers to retool and upskill strategically positions them to secure employment in pursuit of a career in their chosen profession.”

The workforce readiness training schedule for January 2023 is available in the Resources Section online at gov.bm/department/workforce-development.

All classes are held at the Department of Workforce Development, 23 Parliament Street, Hamilton.

To register for a class, e-mail dwdlearning@gov.bm giving your name and contact information, the course name and the date it is scheduled.
