PLP announces recipient for Drum Major Award

The Progressive Labour Party will honour five outstanding citizens during its 61st Annual Founder’s Day and Drum Major Awards this weekend.
Lieutenant-Colonel David Burch, the Minister of Public Works, will serve as the ceremony’s keynote speaker.
Recipients of the Drum Major Awards, seen as having made positive contributions in the spirit of community service, were also announced to be Quinton Mallory, Raymond Santucci, Margaret Giloth, Edward Swan and Bermuda is Love.
The ceremony and luncheon will take place on Sunday at 2pm at CedarBridge Academy in Devonshire.
Tickets can be purchased at the PLP headquarters at Reginald A Burrows Building on Court Street, Hamilton.
