Bermuda to participate in UAE exchange programme
Bermuda will take part in an exchange programme with the United Arab Emirates.
Jason Hayward, the Minister of the Economy and Labour, said on social media that he had signed an agreement with the UAE Ministry of Cabinet Affairs to participate in its Government Experience Exchange Programme.
Mr Hayward said the partnership “stands as a testament to the deepening friendship between Bermuda and the UAE” and allows the two countries to exchange “knowledge, experiences and best practices in government administration”.
He added: “This is an essential outlet for the Government of Bermuda to build critical institutional capacities and skills for the future, in line with the Public Service Strategic Plan 2024-27.”
More than 30 countries have participated in the GEEP since it launched in 2018.
