Premier to address the public on relief measures

David Burt, the Premier, will make a “special address to the people of Bermuda” this evening, it was announced yesterday.
A government spokeswoman said: “The Premier’s message will be in keeping with the theme of ‘Building a Fairer and Better Bermuda’.
“Mr Burt will touch on the Government’s seven years of progress and discuss more support and relief for Bermudians.
“The Premier will also share the importance of community safety and unity as the annual Cup Match holiday approaches.”
The address is scheduled to begin at 6pm and will be streamed live on both the Government’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.
