Voters urged to check registration details

Eligible voters have been urged to ensure that their registration details are up to date in advance of the General Election next month.

In a statement, the Parliamentary Registry advised the electorate that the voter registration period is open and will close at 5pm on Thursday.

Voters can register online at www.elections.gov.bm or in person at the Parliamentary Registry at Craig Appin House, 8 Wesley Street, Hamilton.

The public were also advised that voter identification cards will not be issued during the seven-day registration period, which began on January 9. However, the issuance process of the cards will resume on January 20.
