The Royal Bermuda Regiment’s upcoming recruitment camp will coincide with the General Election.

An RBR spokeswoman believes this is the first time the training, from February 9 to 21, will take place during a General Election.

She added that recruits will be able to vote during advance polling at Mount Saint Agnes Academy on February 10 or 11, or at their polling locations on February 18.

The spokeswoman said: “For those who choose to vote on February 18, transportation will be provided to take them to their allocated polling stations to ensure they can cast their votes without issue.”

She added that the RBR is “ensuring that all recruits have the necessary time and means to exercise their vote”.
