Thousands of residents will attend polling places today where they will cast their votes in a General Election that was forecast to deliver “great spectator sport”.
Veteran political participant and observer John Barritt made the prediction last week but noted that the result was difficult to forecast.
A staggering 109 candidates have put themselves forward to represent the public in the House of Assembly, with 26 independents among them.
As the electorate makes its decision, The Royal Gazette will bring live updates from polling places as well as those much anticipated results when they roll in later this evening.
