Bermuda’s top cat has joined the Governor, Andrew Murdoch, for a charitable tradition.
For decades, the Governor has made the first contribution on the launch of the annual Lions Club White Cane Tag Days, which raises funds for the visually impaired.
Palmerston the cat, who flew to fame in 2020 with his retirement as chief mouser at the Foreign Office, joined in the generosity at the Governor’s residence.
The club’s tag days this year will be March 14 in Hamilton, across the parishes on March 15 and March 19 at the Lindo’s supermarkets in Devonshire and Warwick.
