Six staff climb ranks at Bowring Marsh
Insurance broker and risk adviser Bowring Marsh (Bermuda) Ltd has announced promotions for six staff members, while two employees have achieved professional designations.
Kara Gibbons and Andrew Males have been named senior vice-presidents in the organisation’s property and casualty practices, respectively.
Ms Gibbons and Mr Males joined Bowring Marsh as insurance assistants in 2005 and 2008, respectively, and are testament to the success of the firm’s strategy to provide career progression opportunities for its colleagues, the company said.
Jamaine Smith, who joined Bowring Marsh in 2015, was named vice-president within the casualty practice, while Jahan Cedenio, financial and professional liability; Samantha Clyke, healthcare; and Kyla Evans, casualty, were each named as an assistant vice-president.

Two Bowring Marsh staff members have passed exams to receive professional designations, with Allison Bassett, insurance assistant, achieving the chartered property casualty underwriter designation, and Trent Lightbourne, associate broker, earning the registered professional liability underwriter designation.
Mr Reeves added: “Congratulations to all staff that have received professional designations and promotions in 2019. We look forward to continued achievements of all our employees.”
