A Bermuda-based reinsurance firm has appointed a new chief financial officer.

American Overseas Group has signed up Rochelle Fyfe, formerly of Orpheus Group, also based in Bermuda, as chief financial officer.

Accountant Ms Fyfe, who is already a director of American Overseas Group, previously worked at financial services firm KPMG, as well as other private and publicly-traded companies.

American Overseas Group is a holding company and its subsidiary, American Overseas Reinsurance is a property/casualty reinsurance company writing short tail non-catastrophe property/casualty reinsurance.
