There has been a reshuffle at Endurance Specialty Holdings following the departure of Peter Mills, Global Reinsurance chief operating officer.

Mr Mills was a Bermuda-based strategic underwriting officer with Tokio Millennium Re before joining Endurance in 2013. He was most recently based in Switzerland.

As part of Endurance Re’s global leadership team he was head of global speciality reinsurance and Europe property and casualty reinsurance.

A spokeswoman for the company said Mr Mills’ role was being filled by three executives; Christopher Virchow, Adrian Poxon and Stefan Beine.

Mr Virchow and Mr Poxon are co-heads of global speciality reinsurance, while Mr Beine is head of Europe property, casualty and catastrophe reinsurance.
