Former Bermuda Monetary Authority executive Shelby Weldon has joined insurance broker and risk manager Marsh Captive Solutions.

Mr Weldon, who was most recently director of licensing and authorisations at the BMA, will lead a team of 14 captive management professionals delivering Marsh’s captive management and consulting services as part of the firm’s senior management.

Mr Weldon previously served at the BMA as director of compliance and deputy director of insurance supervision.

He has amassed 30 years of experience in Bermuda financial services and began his career as an auditor at an international audit firm.
