A former Bermuda-based insurance professional has been appointed to the UK leadership team at Aon Reinsurance Solutions.

The company said Ben Love, who worked at Benfield and Hiscox in Bermuda from 2005 until 2012, will focus primarily on client growth strategy in addition to other specific client responsibilities.

Based in London, he will report to Reinsurance Solutions’ UK CEO, Nick Frankland.

Mr Love joins Aon from reinsurer Tamesis DUAL, where he was director of underwriting.

Mr Frankland said: “With more than 20 years of experience in the reinsurance industry across underwriting, broking and third-party capacity management, Ben is well positioned to understand our clients’ needs in a rapidly evolving marketplace.

“We are delighted to have someone of his expertise join Reinsurance Solutions and the UK leadership team of our business.”
