Chiolan appointed Ascot Group EVP

Ascot Group, the Bermudian-based re/insurer, has appointed Brian Chiolan as executive vice-president, management & professional liability.
In the newly created position, Mr Chiolan will have oversight responsibility for Ascot’s US management liability, financial institutions, professional liability & cyber portfolios with a focus on portfolio management, product development, premium expansion and enhanced distribution strategies.
The company said the key leadership position will work closely with Ascot’s financial lines underwriting teams and executive management to further Ascot’s strategic goals in the US insurance market.
Mr Chiolan will report directly to Matt Kramer, CEO, US Insurance.
