SiriusPoint appoints new CFO

SiriusPoint Ltd, the global specialty re/insurer based in Bermuda, has appointed Steve Yendall as chief financial officer, effective October 31.
Mr Yendall, who has 25 years of re/insurance industry experience, will report to chief executive officer, Scott Egan, as a member of SiriusPoint’s executive leadership team.
He was most recently managing director at Guy Carpenter, Canada and North America.
Mr Yendall replaces current SiriusPoint CFO David Junius, who has resigned to pursue other opportunities, the company said.
